Clinics
We run a range of clinics. For an appointment or further details, please call the Surgery.
Antenatal
This clinic is run by the midwives. If you become pregnant, you will be given a ‘booking appointment’ at which the midwife will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice or at the local hospital, or both. A GP will carry out the post natal and 6-8 week baby checks
Child health and immunization
Provided by the Health Visitor and Practice Nurse. All new babies are invited for regular check-ups from six to eight weeks old.
Minor surgery
Minor operations can be done at the surgery. Please discuss this with your doctor who will then arrange for you to be given an appointment. We offer joint injections.
Diabetes, Asthma & Hypertension
Led by our nursing team, these clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with the medical problems mentioned above.
We refer for NHS digital weight management, please discuss this with a clinician.
Specialist and hospital care
If a GP or another member of our health care team believes you need hospital treatment or specialist care elsewhere, they will ask you where you would like to go. They can then refer you to that Hospital. However certain specialities are not available at all the three major Leicester hospitals.
Physiotherapy
We employ a physiotherapist, who offers appointments every Monday to our patients. These are pre-bookable, please speak to a clinician if you would like to be referred. Some Saturday appointments are also available.
Social Prescriber
Please speak to us if you would like us to refer you to our social prescriber, who can signpost or refer to other organisations with reference to many social matters, such as loneliness, housing, benefits, finances, bus pass, employment, blue badge, home care, disability badge, food banks and substance misuse.
Non-NHS Services
We also occasionally carry out private work, including some travel vaccinations and private letters and referrals and will charge for this work. Please speak to a member of staff if you require work which is not available on the NHS.
